The Rocky Mountain Deaf School Family Student Staff Organization (FSSO), in cooperation with the Community in the Denver Metro Area, encourages an attitude of support, pride, and enthusiasm that promotes a positive school/community relationship, enhancing our children’s educational environments, and influencing our children’s future success.

FSSO Purpose
FSSO Purpose
To promote parent-teacher cooperation in the overall education of our children.
To conduct fundraising activities to ensure that state-of-the-art educational materials are available to all the children of RMDS.
To host activities that encourage family involvement in the educational process.
To support individual teachers in the classrooms by coordinating the efforts of the “room parents.”
To show appreciation to the educational staff, who influence our children’s future.
To encourage community involvement in school functions in order to enhance role models for the children.
The FSSO is always looking for fresh ideas for fundraisers and activities. Your ideas – as well as your helping hands – are welcome. Together, we can provide a quality education for our children.
